Job summary

VEG is seeking a part-time Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line emergency care team in California. You'll work with doctors delivering gold standard, emotionally intelligent care across triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing while supporting pets and their people.

Qualifications

• CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT credential required in the practice state.
• 1+ year veterinary technician experience; emergency/specialty preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage and treat emergencies across cases, with doctors and team.
• Provide nursing care and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Assist with anesthesia, monitoring, diagnostics, and critical care.
• Administer medications, IVs, CRIs, and blood products as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain smooth care flow and patient comfort.
