Job summary

VEG is seeking an Operations Lead to deliver an exceptional customer experience and oversee day-to-day hospital operations. You will empower a front desk team, manage triage rounds, maintain a tidy reception area, and support patient flow through the ER.

Successful candidates are hands-on, people-focused, and able to work nights and weekends. Prior veterinary exposure and familiarity with IMP/Infinity software are a plus, with opportunities to grow within a dynamic emergency medical team.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Prior experience with animals in a veterinary environment is a major plus.
• Knowledge of Infinity/ImproMed is a plus.
• Ability to stand for prolonged hours, lift up to 25 kg, and work in a noisy environment with odors.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating or as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Drive VEG's customer-focused experience and triage, ensuring consistent care.
• General hospital maintenance: reception, refreshment center, cleaning, laundry, inventory.
• Assist customers with phone inquiries, greet patients, manage wait times.
• Ensure accurate entry of patient information and correct payment processing.
• Oversee front desk coverage and train new hires in daily processes.
• Oversee inventory counts, reorder points, and vendor communications.
