Job summary

VEG ER for Pets is seeking a dedicated veterinary technician to lead nursing care flow during shifts in New York, ensuring team communication and quality patient care. You’ll coordinate shift roles, assist in staff training, and maintain workplace safety standards. A veterinary technician certification is preferred but not mandatory.

The role offers competitive compensation of $28 - $50/hr, health insurance, dental and vision coverage, and opportunities for continuing education.

Qualifications

• Credentialed as a veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) preferred.
• Strong understanding of VEG practice workflow and team communications.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg and support up to 40 kg with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the flow of nursing care during the shift.
