Job summary

Siddons-Martin Emergency Group is seeking a General Service Technician to support service staff, perform vehicle maintenance, and help ensure safety and efficiency across sites. The role requires adherence to SMEG policies and teamwork within the shop and field teams.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, willingness to travel, and strong communication skills. Experience in the fire/emergency industry is a plus, with EVT Master Tech and Pierce Master Technician credentials considered

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel to multiple site locations.
• Experience in the Fire/Emergency services industry a plus.
• EVT Master Tech and Pierce Master Technician status a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enforce company policies per SMEG Handbook.
• Assist shop and field technicians with vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Provide accurate labor time estimates and parts lists.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and professional appearance.
• Communicate with Shop Foreman/Managers to plan daily work.
