Job summary

Siddons-Martin Emergency Group is hiring a field service technician to perform repair and preventative maintenance on emergency vehicles. The role requires traveling to customer sites to troubleshoot and install equipment, ensuring all systems are functional and safe.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, a Class B CDL with air brakes, EVT/ASE certifications a plus, and proven ability to work independently while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel within an assigned territory.
• Customer service skills required, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair emergency vehicle equipment (fire apparatus).
• Test and repair equipment at customer locations; provide troubleshooting.
• Install equipment and ensure it is fully functional.
• Provide telephone support for troubleshooting.
• Follow up to ensure proper working condition after service.
