Job summary

Animal Emergency & Referral Center Of Minnesota in Oakdale, MN is seeking an Emergency Triage Representative to be the first connection during challenging moments for pets and clients. You will triage patients, communicate with clients, provide status updates, assist with discharges and financial discussions, and support the ER medical team.

Salary Range: $17.50 - $24.00 Hourly

At Animal Emergency & Referral Center of Minnesota, our Emergency Triage Representatives are often the very first connection clients have during some of the hardest moments of pet ownership. We’re looking for compassionate, calm, and fast-thinking individuals who can support both patients and clients in a busy emergency and specialty environment.

In this role, you’ll triage incoming patients, communicate with clients, provide status updates, assist with discharges and financial discussions, and support the ER medical team through exceptional client service and patient advocacy. You’ll also assist with basic patient care, monitor patient status, and help ensure a smooth and supportive experience for pets and the people who love them.

Ideal candidates are organized, emotionally intelligent, able to multitask under pressure, and passionate about veterinary medicine and client care. Prior veterinary, emergency, or client service experience is strongly preferred.

Nights, weekends, and holidays required. Veterinary technician credentials are a plus, but not required for the right candidate.
