Job summary

Northwell Health Physician Partners is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Telepsychiatrists to join our team from our Midtown Manhattan office or via telehealth. The role offers full-time or part-time arrangements with 12-hour shifts and comprehensive support from a Behavioral Health Counselor and clerical staff.

You will provide virtual psychiatric care to adult and pediatric Emergency and Med/Surg departments, participate in teaching and leadership opportunities, and contribute to a

Qualifications

• Must be BC/BE and licensed in NYS.
• Superior computer and EHR skills; Emergency Psychiatry experience preferred.
• Must be able to assess ED and CL patients of all ages.
• Part-time overnight position requires 6 shifts/month; full-time requires 1/3 of shifts on weekends and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide telepsychiatry consultations to adult and pediatric ED and Med/Surg Depts.
• Collaborate with Behavioral Health Counselor and staff to coordinate care.
• Maintain 24/7 availability and contribute to crisis decision-making.
