Job summary

Northwell Health Physician Partners is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Telepsychiatrists to join our team at our Manhattan, New York office. This unique role offers 12-hour shifts within a state-of-the-art 24/7 Telehealth service, providing virtual psychiatry consultations to Adult and Pediatric ED and Med/Surg departments.

Qualifications

• Must be BC/BE and licensed in NYS.
• Superior computer and EHR skills; Emergency Psychiatry experience preferred.
• Must be able to assess ED and CL patients of all ages.
• Part-time overnight position requires 6-shift/month commitment.
• Full-time position must be able to work 1/3 of shifts on weekends and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide telepsychiatry consultations to Adult & Pediatric Emergency and Med/Surg Depts.
• Operate within a 24/7 Telepsychiatry service with support from Behavioral Health Counselor and staff.
• Collaborate with the Telepsychiatry team to ensure timely psychiatric care for crises.
