Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a Response Technician to join our Northampton, PA team. The role focuses on emergency spill response, environmental cleanup, waste handling, and field support under supervision.

On-site duties include equipment setup, proper PPE use, and adherence to environmental regulations. The position requires willingness to be on-call, the ability to travel, physical outdoor work, and compliance with safety and training programs.

Qualifications

• Willingness to participate in an on-call schedule and respond to emergencies outside normal hours.
• Ability to travel overnight as needed.
• Perform physical outdoor labor in varying conditions.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Able to follow direction while working independently and as part of a team.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, RCRA, CAA, CWA regulations.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and safety management systems.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship or future sponsorship.
• Must pass drug screen and background checks; random drug testing may occur.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds regularly and work overtime.
• Willing to work flexible hours Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency spills and environmental cleanup projects, including 24/7/365 response.
• Assist with spill containment, cleanup, decontamination, and waste handling.
• Set up, operate, and break down response equipment and tools.
• Load, unload, label, and manage materials, containers, and equipment.
• Interact professionally with emergency services and regulatory agencies.
• Complete field documentation and daily work records.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas, vehicles, and equipment.
• Follow safety policies and use required PPE.
