Job summary

State of Missouri is seeking an on-call Emergency Maintenance Equipment Operator to plow snow and apply ice control on Missouri roads. Hours vary with weather events, and night shifts receive an additional $1 per hour. CDL Class A or B with no air brake restrictions is required.

Wage rates vary by season: 1st season $23.00-$26.00, 2nd-3rd season $24.11-$27.11, 4th season $25.37-$28.37. Applicants must be at least 18, pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• CDL Class A or B with no air brake restrictions and interstate status.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operates vehicles to plow snow and spread ice control materials or to warn oncoming traffic.
• Cleans and performs routine maintenance on vehicles, equipment, buildings and grounds.
• Performs other responsibilities as required or assigned.
