Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking an experienced Staff Registered Nurse for the Forsyth, GA area.

The RN will independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients under physician orders and established guidelines, while following the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. Requirements include GA RN licensure in good standing and BLS certification; BSN degree and ACLS/PALS/NRP or other certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN in GA in good standing without limitations.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• The RN plans and provides professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and guidelines.
• Functions within the Georgia Nurse Practice Act scope of practice.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

7:00am - 7:30pm OR 7:00pm - 7:30am
