Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living in Pompton Plains, NJ, seeks an experienced Operations Manager of Emergency Services to lead EMS teams and ensure resident, employee, and visitor safety. This role emphasizes hospitality, customer service, and a strong safety culture within a continuing care community.

Compensation ranges from $73,000 to $83,000 annually, plus a generous performance-based bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Minimum 3 years of public safety leadership or emergency management experience.
• Current and valid driver's license.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an Emergency Responder role.
• Emergency Medical Responder Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Professional Security Certification such as CPP, PSP, or CHPA preferred.
• BLS CPR certification (provided if needed).
• OSHA 10-Hour certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support a 24-hour, 7-days-a-week operation with continuous coverage and rapid response.
• Own the safety, emergency services and customer service approach for community well-being.
• Conduct audits, testing, and safety inspections for Life Safety and OSHA compliance.
• Investigate incidents and preserve evidence as required.
• Serve as incident commander until relieved by higher authority.
• Operate company vehicles safely per policies and laws.
• Act as liaison to external first responders.
