St. David's North Austin Medical Center in Austin, TX seeks an Emergency Services Nursing Manager to lead the fast-paced ED, oversee daily operations, staffing and patient care delivery.

You will drive evidence-based practice, ensure compliance with standards, coordinate interdisciplinary care, and champion an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications include BSN required; MSN preferred, Texas RN license, 1+ year supervisory experience, and specialty certification within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• 1+ year experience in healthcare; supervisory experience preferred.
• Specialty certification within 6 months of hire.
• Active RN license in Texas or an active compact license.
• If licensed outside Texas, apply for TXRN within 60 days and obtain TX license within 6 months.
• BLS.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily ED operations and staffing to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures and regulatory standards.
• Drive evidence-based practices to improve patient safety and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and leaders to achieve benchmarks and accreditation standards.
• Oversee admissions and discharges to maintain throughput and care quality.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and ensure staff competencies meet patient needs.
• Provide leadership to deliver an exceptional patient experience and staff accountability.
