Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management.
• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider; documents care timely.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs.
• Teaches patients/families/caregivers about conditions, status, plan, medications and side effects.
• Educates on non-medicinal follow-up measures such as diet, exercise and self-management.
