Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale in Sunnyvale, TX is seeking a MedSurg/Tele Nursing Supervisor to lead frontline staff and partner with Nursing Manager/Director to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

This role coordinates staffing, mentors staff, oversees orientation, and drives quality and performance improvement while maintaining patient advocacy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Texas Registered Nurse license.
• Basic EKG course within one year of hire.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS Certifications.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-line nursing staff in collaboration with Nursing Manager/Director.
• Plan and execute day-to-day operational needs and staffing.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and input to employment decisions.
• Monitor metrics and analyze data to improve performance.
• Participate in interview and selection of new staff.
• Ensure regulatory readiness and infection prevention initiatives.
