Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a Public Safety Dispatcher to provide 24/7 on-site monitoring and dispatch from the Public Safety Operations Center. You will operate CCTV, alarms, radio, and CAD systems, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies to ensure timely responses.

The role requires strong communication, calm under pressure, and the ability to multitask across surveillance and incident management tools. On-site schedule is full-time with 7:00am–3:30pm shifts and biweekly 80 hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years experience in security or public-safety operations center, emergency dispatch, or similar environment (preferred).
• Basic Life Support within 90 days required.
• FEMA IS-100 within 90 days required.

Responsibilities

• Receives public safety calls, prioritizes incidents per protocol.
• Dispatches security officers, EMS, and other resources via radio/CAD.
• Monitors CCTV, access-control, geolocation platforms; escalates threats.
