Qualifications

• Current RN license in Utah or a Compact License with Utah endorsement.
• Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. Experience may substitute education.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and function under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards in alignment with organizational requirements.
• Directs and evaluates departmental operations including patient care delivery and service levels.
• Manages staffing activities: hiring, orientation, evaluation, disciplinary actions, ongoing education.
• Prepares and monitors departmental budget; coordinates internal/external audits.
• Fosters professional growth and integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
• Perform direct patient care nursing responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
