Job summary

Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center is seeking a Director of the Emergency Department to lead strategic vision and administrative oversight of nursing operations. You will collaborate with medical staff and leadership to implement clinical programs that enhance quality of care and satisfaction for patients and providers.

The role oversees the department's financial and human resources, guiding a team through complex clinical programs and operational excellence in a busy ED setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Demonstrated Management experience may substitute for Bachelor’s Degree.
• RN with NE or Compact state License, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, ENPC AND TNCC and Emergency Nursing certification strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years including supervisory management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic vision for the Emergency Department and nursing operations.
• Oversee administrative functions and manage department financial and human resources.
• Collaborate with medical staff and leadership to develop, implement, and maintain clinical programs.
• Ensure high levels of patient and provider satisfaction through quality care initiatives.
