Job summary

Community Action Partnership of Lancaster and Saunders Counties in Lincoln, Nebraska seeks an Emergency Services Advocate to provide case management to applicants. Starting pay is $22.12/hour, with benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Case Management experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written English proficiency required.
• Valid Nebraska Driver’s License with good driving record.
• Sensitivity to needs of low-income, diverse populations and individuals with disabilities.
• Knowledge of community resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide services for applicants by responding to requests promptly.
• Ensure all funding requirements are met prior to approval.
• Conduct intake assessments on all applicants.
• Offer case management services to funded applicants.
• Connect participants with appropriate agency and community resources.
• Assist participants in creating goal plans and tracking progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and files on participants served.
