Job summary

BluePearl Cary is seeking a full-time Emergency Service Head Veterinarian (ERSH) to lead the ER Clinician team and collaborate with Specialists and Leadership to deliver high-quality medicine for pets and the community.

As a clinically practicing manager, you will oversee scheduling, hiring, training, mentoring, and ER meetings; you will work varied shifts and coordinate with the Medical Director to ensure top patient care.

Qualifications

• DVM required with rotation internship or equivalent program.
• 2+ years of clinical experience in emergency veterinary medicine.
• Valid DVM licensure in the applicable state.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
• Shift lead experience preferred; strong leadership and mentorship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ER Clinician team and supervise day-to-day operations.
• Schedule, hire, train, mentor, and run ER meetings.
