Job summary

BearCom, a leading distributor of wireless voice, data and video solutions, seeks a detail-oriented dispatcher/administrative assistant for our Detroit/Troy area operations. You will receive emergency and non-emergency calls, document information, and coordinate resources for service projects, using radio, phone or computer to dispatch crews and track activity.

The role requires 2 years of relevant experience, fast typing, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 2 years of proven relevant experience.
• Typing 35 wpm with data entry experience.
• Proficient in English (oral and written).
• Able to follow procedures and meet deadlines.
• Background checks may be part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record all significant information.
• Address problems and requests by transmitting information to appropriate resource or provide a solution.
• Receive and schedule resources for trouble calls and for service projects.
• Use radio, phone or computer to send crews to appropriate locations.
• Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and record of calls, activities and other relevant information.
• Provide in route and follow up calls to customers as part of customer service.
• Perform administrative and office clerical duties as assigned.
