Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• Successful completion of a Nurse Aide Course Required - Certification preferred.
• State of Iowa nurse's aide registry listing as Active or eligible preferred.
• Previous hospital nurse’s aide experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year post high school business education or one year office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision in the ER setting.
• Register patients and enter charges per procedures.
• Communicate patient changes to the care team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to reach patient care outcomes.
• Enter charges and maintain bed board data.
• Document patient information accurately in the medical record.
• Maintain active logons/passwords for computer systems supporting patient care.
