Fairview is looking for an Emergency Room Technician (ERT) to join our ED team at our East Bank University Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. The Emergency Room Technician (ERT) assists the professional nurse in delivering patient care, transporting patients and equipment, setting up and maintaining patient rooms, and managing supplies. Depending on unit needs and the discretion of the professional nurse, the ERT may be assigned patient care responsibilities.
This position will be working 0.70 FTE (56 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 8 hour evening shifts 3pm-11:30pm with an every other weekend rotation.
Documents patient care activities and procedures on the nursing records.
Maintains room/unit and supplies
Performs quality control checks on designated pieces of equipment
