Job summary

AdventHealth in Greenwood Village, CO, seeks an experienced RN for the Emergency Department. Day shift, full-time, with a competitive pay range and full benefits from day one. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer treatments, and collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), 2+ years ED RN experience, BLS, and TNCC. English fluency and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• EDRN nursing experience required (min 2 years).
• BLS and TNCC certifications required.
• English fluency in reading, speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physical, psychological, and social factors.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Evaluate and adjust care plans to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and regulatory compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to healthcare staff.
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement.
• Respond promptly to code situations and interventions.
