Job summary

HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse for the Downtown Orlando FSED. The RN will coordinate and provide high-quality patient-centered care, perform procedures and document care accurately.

You will educate patients, translate medical information, and collaborate with providers to achieve optimal outcomes in a fast-paced environment. The role requires active RN licensure in Florida, one year of experience, and timely completion of ACLS/BLS/TNCC/PALS with specific course

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of RN experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS must be obtained within specified timeframes.
• PRN as needed; no travel required.
• Active Florida RN license or eligible.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) or equivalent course within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assess patient pain and promote effective pain management.
• Document care in the patient record in a timely manner.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans and follow-up.
• Advocate for patients and support the care team to improve outcomes.
