Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain.
• ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain.
• PALS certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain.
• Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; ER setting preferred.
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct patient care within scope of practice in Telemetry and Emergency Department.
• Teach and guide patient/family education and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians and document results.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
