Job summary

Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to manage patients in medical and surgical settings, providing leadership and safe nursing care in alignment with facility policies and standards.

The RN will assess, plan, guide, and evaluate care while coordinating with the healthcare team. Must hold Texas RN licensure (compact state acceptable) with BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC, and prefer a BSN. Weekend and on-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in Texas or a compact state; temporary Texas RN license acceptable while awaiting permanent license.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC as required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients admitted or seen for medical conditions or surgical procedures.
• Provide professional nursing leadership, assess, plan, guide, and evaluate nursing care.
• Oversee and guide nursing staff under supervision; collaborate with hospital staff and ancillary departments.
• Be available to work weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, and on-call as needed.

Education

Registered Nurse license in Texas (or Compact State)
