Job summary

Bon Secours seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department at St. Francis Eastside. Shift: 6:45pm–7:00am.

You will deliver compassionate nursing care, assess patient status, determine priorities, and implement clinical interventions in a fast-paced ED. Qualifications include an accredited nursing degree and current RN license. BLS/ACLS and PALS are preferred; 1 year ED/CC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• One (1) year of professional RN experience; Emergency Department or Critical Care preferred, not required.
• EPIC Electronic Health Record training (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced, high intensity ED setting.
• Evaluates, updates and revises the plan of care to meet outcomes.
• Serves as point of contact for patients' care coordination across hospital departments.
• Provides care to a broad spectrum of patients from short-stay to trauma.
• Administer medications safely and per policy.
