Job summary

Bon Secours Health System is actively recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med-Surg Unit at St. Francis Eastside. The role emphasizes strong organization and leadership to assess patient status and deliver care for medical and surgical diagnoses.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred) and at least one year of RN experience with current RN licensure. BLS is preferred on hire; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an RN.
• BLS Basic Life Support required; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.
• One year of RN experience in hospital setting required; six months in acute care preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, charting and assess patient condition.
• Evaluate and revise plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Administer medications safely according to state regulations and Mercy Health policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement patient care plans to improve outcomes.
