Community Health Systems, Inc. seeks an RN at Lutheran Downtown Hospital in Fort Wayne to provide patient-centered care using the nursing process. You will coordinate with physicians and nurses to ensure high-quality outcomes, while maintaining a compassionate environment for patients and families.

The role supports full-time 3x12s daytime shifts (7a-7p) and offers a sign-on bonus up to $35,000 along with a competitive benefits package. Ongoing professional development is encouraged.

Formación

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting.
• Strong knowledge of the nursing process and clinical nursing practices.
• Proficient in administering medications and monitoring for side effects.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies, protocols, and the nursing process.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings accurately, reporting changes in condition to the care team.
• Administers medications, monitors for side effects, and documents administration.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions as needed.
• Documents patient care thoroughly in the medical record.
