Job summary
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Jersey City Medical Center in the Emergency Services – Bayonne area. The role involves evening shifts (12p-12a) with every other weekend and rotating holidays, and requires NJ RN licensure and BLS certification. A BSN is preferred, with EMR experience (EPIC) highly desirable.

Qualifications
- Active New Jersey RN license in good standing.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience in emergency nursing and EPIC EMR familiarity.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
- Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments and hands-on care.
- Serve as a clinical partner to physicians and advanced providers.
- Educate patients and families for informed care decisions.
- Ensure accurate documentation in the EMR to promote continuity.
- Contribute to interdisciplinary rounds for coordinated care.
- Promote teamwork and shared accountability in a collaborative environment.
- Pursue ongoing professional growth through education and ladders.
