Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health in Illinois is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for full-time night shifts. The role features self-scheduling with 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, and floating assignments across multiple sites within Zones 4 and 5.

The ideal candidate has 2 years ED RN experience, holds BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications, and demonstrates strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration with care teams. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years Emergency Department RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications
• RN license in state where practicing

Responsibilities

• Engages in councils, governance, and quality initiatives.
• Utilizes nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.

• Maintains accurate EHR documentation and rapid responses to changes.
