Job summary

Amergis, formerly Maxim Healthcare Staffing, has a travel assignment for an Emergency Department Registered Nurse. You will apply the nursing process and deliver care in emergent critical care areas, collaborating with the team to stabilize patients.

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the emergency room setting or other emergent critical care areas.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse License within the state of practice
• Minimum of one year emergency room experience preferred
• CEN certification preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
