Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in the emergency department and critical care float units in Salem, OH. You will apply the nursing process, monitor patients, and coordinate with the care team in fast-paced environments.

Ideal candidates hold an OH RN license with ER/CC experience; CPR current; health certificate as required; and must be at least 18 years old. Travel assignments include competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the practice state (OH)
• Minimum of one year ER and/or critical care experience preferred
• CPR current if applicable
• Health certificate current per contract or state regulations
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing process to deliver patient care in the emergency room and critical care areas as skilled
• Be prepared to perform CPR and other life-sustaining measures as needed
• Provide safe, effective, and timely care in high-pressure settings

The RN Emergency Dept/Critical Care Float assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the emergency room setting and critical care areas as determined based on experience, skill and competency The RN Emergency Dept/Critical Care Float must be prepared at all times to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and other life sustaining measures for the patients under their care.

• Current Registered Nurse License within the state of practice
• Minimum of one year emergency room and critical care experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
