Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide expert nursing care in fast-paced ED and other emergent critical care areas. You will apply the nursing process, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in travel assignments.

Requires current RN license for the state of practice, ER experience preferred, and CPR/health certificate as applicable.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License within the state of practice
• Minimum of one year emergency room experience preferred
• CEN certification preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Job description

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the emergency room setting or other emergent critical care areas.
