Job summary

ER of Dallas is hiring Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our network of freestanding emergency facilities across the DFW metroplex, including Mesquite, Coppell, Fort Worth, and Watauga. Responsibilities include triage, treatment administration, and rapid care planning in a high-pressure setting.

We seek compassionate RNs with Texas licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, plus 1–2 years of ER experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas (or compact license).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (TNCC a plus).
• 1–2 years of ER or critical care nursing preferred.

What You’ll Do

• Triage, assess, and prioritize patients efficiently in an urgent, fast-paced emergency setting.


• Administer medications, IV therapies, and clinical treatments promptly and accurately.


• Monitor acute changes in patient condition and intervene with speed and clinical confidence.


• Collaborate directly with on-site board-certified ER physicians to formulate and execute rapid care plans.


• Maintain clean, compliant documentation and electronic health records.


• Deliver empathetic communication and reassurance to patients and their families during critical moments.

What We’re Looking For

• Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas (or compact multistate license).


• Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC is a plus).


• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of emergency room or critical care nursing experience.


• Skills: Exceptional clinical judgment, calm composure under pressure, and strong team-first communication skills.

What You'll Do

As an Emergency Room Registered Nurse, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in urgent need. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing and triaging patients to determine the level of care required.


• Administering medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.


• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.


• Monitoring patient progress and responding to changes in condition.


• Educating patients and their families on treatment plans and post-care instructions.


• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
