Job summary

Jackson Health System in Miami, FL is seeking a Clinical Staff Nurse for a part-time position in the Emergency Room. The CSN will deliver quality patient care, apply the nursing process, and coordinate with physicians and staff to ensure safe, efficient care.

Required is an Associate’s degree in Nursing with active Florida licensure; BSN is preferred. ACLS/PALS/BLS may be required at unit level, with HIPAA and safety standards strictly followed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Valid Florida RN license.
• ACLS/PALS/BLS certifications may be required at unit level.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care delivery with physicians and healthcare staff.
• Document nursing care, plans and observations.
• Account for narcotics and emergency equipment on each tour of duty.
• Maintain infection control procedures and HIPAA compliance.
• Perform charge nurse duties when assigned and supervise staff.
• Provide rounds to ensure continuity of care and patient safety.
