Jackson Health System is seeking a Clinical Staff Nurse for Jackson Memorial Hospital - Main Recovery Room in Miami, FL. The part-time with benefits position emphasizes quality patient care, critical thinking, and adherence to the CARE model.

The CSN will perform nursing duties, coordinate care with physicians, ensure accurate documentation, and participate in teaching and health promotion. A valid Florida RN license and BLS are required on hire.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• BSN degree is preferred.
• Current Florida RN license is required.
• AHA BLS and life support certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Implements and coordinates delivery of care in collaboration with physicians and other staff.
• Uses the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to apply nursing knowledge.
• Documents all pertinent information regarding nursing care and care plans.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Provides direction to LPNs/CNAs and completes orientation as assigned.
