Job summary

HCA Florida Lake City Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team. You will use established nursing models to advocate for patients and support clinical outcomes across the department.

You will assess pain, perform procedures, educate patients and families, and ensure timely documentation in the medical record. A supportive environment with staffing resources is provided.

Qualifications

• RN licensed practical nurse with an Associate Degree or higher.
• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS within 30 days of employment start date.
• No travel required.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient pain regularly and promotes effective pain management with reassessments.
• Performs procedures and documents care in the medical record promptly.
• Responds to patient requests and anticipates needs to deliver exceptional care.
• Educates patients and families about condition, treatment plan, and follow-up measures.
• Teaches on follow-up lifestyle changes and self-management support.
