UMass Memorial Health in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Registered Nurse (Non-Exempt) to provide direct patient care using the nursing process, from admission to discharge, in a busy emergency setting.

The schedule shows 6:45A-3:15P with 24 hours, full-time (40 hours/week), holidays and weekends every other, and placement in the Emergency Room. Massachusetts nursing licensure and BLS are required; ACLS is preferred for some units. A signing bonus may be available.

Competenze

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification current is preferred for some units.

Mansioni

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for the delivery and management of patient care from Admission to Discharge, appropriate to the developmental age of the patient population.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluate nursing care within assigned clinical setting.
• Delegates appropriately to others in accordance with job description and competency level.
