Job summary

Trubridge is seeking a skilled medical coder to handle inpatient and ER coding, using the 3M 360 Encoder HDM. You will assign ICD-10-CM and PCS codes, support DRG accuracy, and create compliant physician queries.

Requirements include AHIMA or AAPC certification and a 2-year degree or equivalent experience. You will float across sites, ensuring accurate medical necessity reviews and timely, precise coding.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inpatient: assign ICD-10-CM and PCS codes based on documentation.

Job description

The Coding Advocate will handle medical coding and data entry / abstraction for Hospital (Acute) Out-Patient visits. Specifically, will code Emergency Room (E.R.) cases. Additionally, this individual will use the 3M 360 Encoder HDM to streamline the coding/billing process.These Goals and objectives are not to be construed as a complete statement of all duties performed; employees will be required to perform other job related duties as required.
