Trubridge is seeking a skilled medical coder to handle inpatient and ER coding, using the 3M 360 Encoder HDM. You will assign ICD-10-CM and PCS codes, support DRG accuracy, and create compliant physician queries.

Requirements include AHIMA or AAPC certification and a 2-year degree or equivalent experience. You will float across sites, ensuring accurate medical necessity reviews and timely, precise coding.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree or equivalent experience and AHIMA or AAPC certification required.
• Experience coding Emergency Room cases required.
• Experience with 3M 360 Encoder HDM required.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient: assign ICD-10-CM and PCS codes based on documentation.
• Ensure accurate DRG assignment and reviewer queries when needed.
• Review claims for medical necessity and update problem lists.
• Assign present on admission indicators and work across sites.
