Job summary

Avera Health in Marion, Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide bedside nursing on a rotating 12-hour schedule, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. The role may float between the Avera Family Health Center and area EDs as needed.

You will develop nursing care plans, coordinate with physicians, educate patients and families, and maintain high safety and infection-control standards. Sign-on bonuses are available.

Qualifications

• The RN must have visual acuity and communication skills to perform essential job functions.
• Active RN license in the state of practice and Board of Nursing eligibility are required.
• 1–3 years clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by reviewing prescriptions and coordinating with the health care team.
• Develops and documents nursing care plans and interventions.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care.
• Evaluates care, maintains infection-control standards, and ensures safety.
• Documents services in patient records and maintains equipment and supplies.
