Job summary

Avera Sacred Heart Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to provide comprehensive patient care on rotating days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. You will develop and implement nursing care plans, coordinate with physicians and the care team, and educate patients and families on conditions and self-care.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in applicable state with active license.
• Capable of formulating and adjusting nursing care plans.
• Strong communication with patients, families and multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care by assessing patient condition and implementing plans.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other health professionals.
• Teach patients and families about conditions, medications and self-care.
• Maintain infection-control standards and safety procedures.
• Document care in patient records and ensure accuracy of information.
