Job summary

ProMedica Fostoria Hospital Association in Fostoria, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Center on a part-time basis with afternoons (11:00am–11:00pm).

You will coordinate patient care, assess needs, develop and evaluate plans, and collaborate with the care team to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction. Current RN license and CPR are required, with CE hours ongoing as per Ohio rules.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR training.
• Twenty-four hours of continuing education during licensure period.
• 1 hour CE related to Ohio nurse practice code requirements.
• Specialty certifications as required by unit may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care and coordinate plan of care.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses and support staff to meet patient goals.
• Communicate with patients and families with respect and empathy.
