Job summary

Community Health Systems seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Northwest Medical Center - Level III Trauma in Tucson, AZ. This is a full-time evening-shift role offering comprehensive benefits and a $15,000 bonus for eligible, experienced RNs.

The RN will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with physicians and the health care team to ensure safe, effective outcomes for patients and families.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting is required.
• 1+ years of ED RN experience preferred or advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with policies and nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings accurately.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for adverse effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency and scope.
• Collaborates with the care team to implement individualized care plans.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities.
• Educates patients and families about conditions, treatments, and discharge plans.
