The position requires current Iowa RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC, and proficient EMR use. The environment offers a 12-hour day shift with flexible variations, weekend and holiday rotations, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited nursing program.
Current RN licensure in the state of Iowa or compact state.
BLS certification, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS are required.
Fluent English; strong multicultural sensitivity; able to use EMR efficiently.

Responsibilities

Assumes primary responsibility for the plan of care for a patient or group of patients.
Effectively delegates tasks and collaborates with health care team.
Performs admission assessment including history, physical and psycho-social evaluation.
Develops and implements a care plan with patient and family.
Administers medications and nursing treatments within scope of practice.
Maintains patient safety and comfort within nursing standards.
