Job summary
Great River Health Systems in West Burlington, Iowa is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a part-time schedule. The role offers 35 hours per week with a night shift from 9:30pm to 7:30am and every other weekend, plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
You will deliver nursing care using the nursing process in coordination with the health team, serving diverse populations including geriatric, medical/surgical, telemetry, pediatric, and behavioral health
Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) minimum or currently in last semester.
- Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration.
- Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Iowa or currently in last semester of school.
- IV Conscious Sedation experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members.
- Interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing.
- Provides high quality care to populations including Geriatric, Medical/Surgical, Adult, Telemetry, Pediatric, Behavioral Health, Critical Care.
