Job summary

Alford Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Mitigation Technician to perform water, fire, mold, and storm restoration at residential and commercial properties. You will respond to emergencies, assess damage with moisture meters, and manage drying equipment while maintaining safety and high standards.

Responsibilities include demolition, loading equipment, and communicating with customers. A valid license, physical capability to lift 50-75 lbs, and willingness to work irregular hours are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly.
• Comfort with irregular hours, nights and weekends.
• Willingness to work in hazardous conditions and confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency water losses and perform mitigation services.
• Inspect and assess water damage using moisture detection equipment.
• Extract standing water and remove damaged materials.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, scrubbers).
• Follow company procedures and IICRC standards; participate in on-call rotation.
