Job summary

Alford Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Mitigation Technician to perform emergency response, mitigation and restoration at residential and commercial properties in Georgia.

You will assess damage, set up equipment, perform controlled demolition, monitor drying progress and ensure work meets industry standards and company procedures. Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. regularly.
• Comfort working in confined spaces, crawlspaces, attics.
• Willingness to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Operate hand tools and restoration equipment as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor and customer service skills.
• Able to pass background checks and drug screening.
• Wear uniform per handbook.
• Vehicle maintenance & cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency water losses and perform mitigation services.
• Conduct inspections and assess water damage using moisture detection equipment.
• Extract standing water and remove damaged materials.
• Perform controlled demolition (drywall, flooring, insulation, cabinetry).
• Set up and monitor drying equipment including air movers and dehumidifiers.
• Apply antimicrobial and cleaning treatments as required.
• Ensure job sites are safe, clean, and contained.
• Communicate with customers regarding restoration process.
• Load and maintain equipment and vehicles.
• Follow company procedures and IICRC standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response.
